PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Catch The Fire Boulder is the operating name of Living Water North Gate, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization (EIN 35-2471364) located at 700 W. South Boulder Rd., Lafayette, CO 80026. This policy explains what information we collect through ctfboulder.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, submit a prayer request, register for an event, join a small group, sign up for a ministry, or give online, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and anything you choose to include in your message. Prayer requests may contain personal or sensitive details; you decide how much to share, and you are never required to share more.

Giving information. Online donations are processed by Church Center, the giving platform provided by Planning Center. Payment card and bank account details are entered directly into their secure, encrypted system. We do not collect, see, or store your full payment details. We do receive a record of your gift — amount, date, and your name and contact details — for receipting and tax reporting.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and time spent. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions, messages, and prayer requests

  • To register you for events, groups, and ministries, and to send related details

  • To process donations, issue receipts, and provide annual contribution statements

  • To send church news and updates, where you have asked to receive them

  • To understand how our website is used so we can improve it

  • To meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our site. It sets cookies that collect information such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location, and how you arrived. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out across all sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on — link to tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Google Ads. We participate in the Google Ad Grants program and run ads on Google Search. Google may use cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit or an action on our site, and to report on ad performance. You can manage your ad personalization settings in your Google Account, and review Google's own practices in Google's Privacy Policy.

Managing cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site work.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers who operate this site and our systems on our behalf — Squarespace (website hosting), Planning Center and Church Center (church management, events, giving), and Google (analytics and advertising). Each may only use the information to provide their service to us.

  • Within our ministry team — prayer requests and pastoral messages are read by our pastoral team and are held in confidence.

  • Where the law requires it, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect someone's safety or to comply with a legal obligation.

How we protect and keep your information

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and our service providers maintain their own security measures. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was given, or as long as our legal and financial record-keeping obligations require — donation records are retained for seven (7) years for tax and audit purposes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about children who take part in our youth or children's ministries is provided by a parent or guardian through our registration process. If you believe a child has given us information online without a parent's consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message.

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — contact us and we will act on your request, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.

  • Manage your giving — recurring gifts can be changed or cancelled by you at any time in Church Center.

Links to other websites

Our site links to services and websites we don't control, including Church Center, YouTube, Facebook, and Google Maps. This policy does not cover them, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
