Worship Leader (Part-Time)

Location: 700 W. South Boulder Rd., Lafayette, CO 80026

Type: Part-Time (approx. 5–7 hours per week)

Reports to: Lead Pastors

Pre-service prayer — Sundays, 8:45am. A quiet hour before the room fills. Anyone can join.

The Engine — Fridays, 6:30 to 8:00pm. Corporate prayer and worship. No experience needed and no pressure to pray aloud.

Small groups — through the week. Homes across Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Broomfield, and Boulder.

Catch The Fire Boulder Church is seeking a passionate, skilled Worship

Leader to help our community encounter God’s transforming presence through

expressive, Spirit-led worship. The ideal candidate has not only musical

excellence but also a deep heart for hosting Holy Spirit and leading others into

authentic intimacy with Father.

Key Responsibilities

• Worship Leading: Lead the congregation in an expressive worship set

every Sunday morning and for occasional special events throughout the

year.

• Rehearsal & Prep: Direct a weekly 2-hour practice (currently Thursday, but

negotiable) to ensure the team is musically and spiritually prepared.

• Song Selection: Curate song lists that align with our movement’s values—

hosting God's presence and manifesting His love.

• Team Building: Shepherd and mentor volunteer musicians and vocalists,

fostering a "family" atmosphere and encouraging their spiritual growth.

• Collaboration: Be open to receiving song input from Elders to align

musical elements with the message and theme of the service.

Weekly Schedule

• Rehearsal: 2 hours mid-week (negotiable).

• Sunday Mornings: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.

• Special Events: As scheduled (typically 4–5 times per year).

Qualifications

• Heart for God: A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus and a lifestyle

that reflects the values of the Catch The Fire movement.• Musical Skill: Proficient in leading from a lead instrument (ideally guitar or

keyboard) with strong vocal ability.

• Presence-Focused: Experience in (or a deep desire for) leading Spirit-led,

prophetic worship that prioritizes the movement of Holy Spirit.

• Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to organize and

lead a diverse group of volunteers with humility and joy.
